Patient Care Specialist

Responsible for managing all parts of patient resupply by utilizing current procedures and developing new strategies to advance the efficiency and productivity of the position continually. The role is also responsible for assisting with the outcomes of the Compliance Department. They will provide phone support for technical issues and periodic follow-ups for patient therapy. The overall goal of the department is to enhance patient therapy outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the auto-ship program using NikoHealth database
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled follow ups based on the current procedures
  • Completes S3 follow ups on a daily basis
  • Answers troubleshooting resupply calls
  • Coordinates with the rest of the department to ensure preferred outcomes
  • Reports on follow-up procedure outcomes and ways to improve and maintain procedures
  • Develops strategies to improve the outcomes of the resupply program
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
